- Tullibardine Distillery nestles in the village of Blackford
at the foot of the Ochil Hills in Perthshire, where the Highlands
of Scotland begin. The Distillery draws its water from the same
source which fed the first public brewery in Scotland and from
where King James IV purchased beer to celebrate his coronation
in 1488. Tullibardine (built on the site of the brewery) was reopened
in 2003 under new owners after ten years of closure. Apart from
the distillery with its excellent shop and restaurant, next door
are a number of quality retail outlets which enhance the visit
there.

Berry Bros & Rudd is Britain's oldest wine and spirit merchant
and one of the oldest in the world, trading from the same shop
on London's St. James's Street for over 300 years. Cutty Sark
Scotch Whisky was created here in 1923 and whiskies continue to
be an important part of the company's business alongside the fine
wines at a wide range of price levels. Not to be missed if in

You can tour the distillery where there is also a bottling plant,
coffee shop and distillery shop. The whole project is being supervised
