www.spiritofspeyside.com - the site for Scotland’s premier mainland whisky Festival based in the heart of Speyside during early May. An easy one-stop shop to browse through, plan and book all events on-line and get news and updates. Remember, Distillery Destinations can also be your one-stop shop here for packages including ground transport/car hire, accommodation and event reservations for this festival.

www.arranwhisky.com - on the lush, green Isle of Arran, this is still Scotland's newest full size distillery. On 29th June 2005, it celebrated the 10th birthday of the opening of its stills.

www.bunnahabhain.com - Offical website of Bunnahabhain Distillery on Islay. News history and much more.

www.thedalmore.com - site for The Dalmore Single Malt which has a reciprocal link to us. News, history, product and production information and tasting. One of the northern Highalnd distilleries.

www.isleofjura.com - site for Isle of Jura Single Malt which also has a reciprocal link to us. As with The Dalmore, an informative site with news, history, product and production information and tasting. Isle of Jura is the only distillery on this little island near Islay.

www.laphroaig.com - Laphroaig's own site. Catch up with current news on Islay's leading malt.

www.bruichladdich.com - see them making the whisky via webcam and learn more about the brand. Reopened in 2001 after several years of closure. This is one of the most innovative distilling companies in Scotland, despite its size. Or maybe because of that it can be more flexible in its offerings.

www.glenmorangie.com - find out all about the brand range and try a tasting along with them.

www.ardbeg.com - see the distillery, join the Ardbeg Committee and enjoy Scotland's peatiest malt. If visiting on one of our tours be sure to stop for lunch or a snack in the excellent cafe there.

www.tullibardine.com - Tullibardine Distillery nestles in the village of Blackford at the foot of the Ochil Hills in Perthshire, where the Highlands of Scotland begin. The Distillery draws its water from the same source which fed the first public brewery in Scotland and from where King James IV purchased beer to celebrate his coronation in 1488. Tullibardine (built on the site of the brewery) was reopened in 2003 under new owners after ten years of closure. Apart from the distillery with its excellent shop and restaurant, next door are a number of quality retail outlets which enhance the visit there.

www.singlemalt.tv - a subscription web channel launched in September 2006 featuring all that is good about whisky and Scotland with contributions from whisky experts and featuring some stunning visuals. An excellent addition to whisky journalism.

www.whisky-heritage.co.uk - site of the Scotch Whisky Heritage Centre in Edinburgh. Learn about the history and production of Scotch Whisky. Great shop, cafe and tasting facilites. See the site for more info and visit it on one of our tours.

www.smws.com - the site for the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. Based in Edinburgh , with premises also in London, the Society has branches in Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Switzerland and USA. Check the site for news and benefits. Become a member and be entitled to buy the Society's own special cask strength bottlings.

www.ileach.co.uk - for all of you who want to keep up to date with life on Islay. This is the island's newspaper.

www.celticmalts.com - the site of whisk(e)y guru, Riannon Walsh. Get information on Riannon herself and her events in the USA. She runs tastings and major exhibitions. Also news snippets and updates from the world of Scotch and other world whiskies.

www.bbr.com - Berry Bros & Rudd is Britain's oldest wine and spirit merchant and one of the oldest in the world, trading from the same shop on London's St. James's Street for over 300 years. Cutty Sark Scotch Whisky was created here in 1923 and whiskies continue to be an important part of the company's business alongside the fine wines at a wide range of price levels. www.lfw.co.uk - site of Richard Joynson's renowned whisky shop in Inveraray, Argyllshire in Scotland. A treasure trove of Scotch Whiskies and good purchase advice too. News and information and price lists for many whiskies. Also publishes a regular newsletter. The shop is an essential stop for any tour of the west of Scotland. We are happy to include directions for any of you coming to that part of the world with us.

www.norfolkwhisky.co.uk - A new distillery opening fully in 2007 in Norfolk, England. You can tour the distillery where there is also a bottling plant, coffee shop and distillery shop. The whole project is being supervised by Master Distiller Iain Henderson, formerly at Edradour and Laphroaig. Should be good.

www.fyne-cruises.com - site for the revamped former Navy torpedo supply boat MV Fyne Spirit which cruises Scotland's west coast waters to call at islands or western Scottish mainland ports. Home port is Inveraray. Available to Distillery Destinations clients for week long whisky cruises. Or even two weeks if you need that extra relaxation. Just contact us to ask about whisky trips and view the ship on its own website.

www.royalmilewhiskies.com - in Edinburgh's historic Royal Mile - one of Scotland's best independent whisky stores. Has an on-line purchase facility and will send overseas (check your local laws). A "must see" if you visit Edinburgh. And a great, knowledgeable team to deal with. Nearby is sister store, The Cigar Box, for the finest cigars (www.thecigar.co.uk). They also have a shop in London on Bloomsbury Street.

www.whiskygame.com - a fun whisky game from Canada. Check it out on the game's own site. A good one to give to a whisky enthusiast as a gift or for yourself. Test how much you really know.
